There is not a question in my mind if we got the right DJ for the job. Matt is one in a million and kept everything so smooth from beginning to end. So many guests complimented our DJ because he makes everything sound like one big song. There is no stops inbetween and just works to keep everyone out on that dance floor, which he totally did on a Sunday night. He is so nice and organized during the planning period of the wedding also and will do anything you ask to change things if needed. I dont have enough room or time to write all the amazing things that this company and Matt deserve so just trust me in saying that you would be dumb not to have him DJ any of your events. Michael was a friend of a friend who was recommended to us for our wedding in 2009. After speaking with us, he asked to meet. My husband and I met him where he asked us questions about how we met, how we fell in love, what kind of people we were. He also asked us pertinent questions about what we envisioned our wedding to be like and what kind of feel we were going for. We had very specific requests on how we wanted it to go.
On the wedding day, Michael not only delivered with the perfect mix of dinner music, correctly pronouncing everyone's name (He had us furnish the names spelled phonetically) he made my guests feel welcome, but he went above and beyond, creating one of the most memorable moments of the night.
My husband and I had a profound moment during "The Space Between" at a Dave Matthews Band concert 10 years ago. Not only did Michael retell the story of how we fell in love for our guests, but he also hunted down a recording of that exact song from that exact concert, and played it for us as a surprise. I was flooded with memories and emotions. It was beautiful and I really appreciate it.
I called Mike again when I needed to book a DJ for a corporate event.
He was very professional, yet got everyone to loosen up and have a great time. The dance floor was packed all night!

Nelson was our photographer and he was also absolutely amazing!! Both Marie and Nelson were completely organized and professional, and made our family and friends feel comfortable. They both had the ability to bring out everyone's personalities and get us excited about the pictures.

We received sooo many compliments from family and friends at the wedding about how amazing the photographers were which made them very excited to see the photos as well. And after we received the photos from Marie we were absolutely amazed and would not have changed a thing! I would recommend any one of my family and friends to use Soundwave for their wedding! Our DJ was DJ Vince - he was an absolute hit at our wedding, he listened to what I had to say, took requests and kept the music going all night long, nobody left the dance floor! He was super friendly and fun and an absolute pleasure to work with! Jordan was our photobooth attendant and he was super awesome and friendly. I cant say enough great things about this company. Marie, the owner, contacted me multiple times to touch base and go over details, and was so kind and understanding when I had questions or needed to go over things. We did our engagement photos with Marie, which came out beautifully! Vince, our Dj called about 3 or 4 days before the wedding to go over the timeline and make sure I was happy with everything. Marie also called me a few days prior to again make sure I was happy with everything and to ask if we needed to make any changes and how I felt, which I really appreciated. Nicole, our photographer called me 2 days prior to go over any details or specific photos I might like to have done. I felt very lucky to have such a competent team with good communication working together to help us. On our Wedding Day, I could not have been happier. Nicole got some great shots, and some artistic ones I wouldn't have ever thought of! Then we got to the reception, and I can not even describe how many people came up to me throughout the night telling me how fantastic our DJ, Vince, was. I whole heartedly recommend this company to anyone.

Matt and Marie were amazing! Marie was so easy to work with an super responsive. Matt was an awesome DJ and really nailed the type of music we wanted played! During the reception, there was so much going on it felt like I was spinning in circles and although I don't remember hearing music I know that everyone was dancing! Everyone young and old - loved the music! My Grandma, who I've NEVER seen dance, EVER, was dancing! Everyone commented on how fun the party was and how much they loved that Matt didn't interrupt the dancing with talking! He also stuck to my "do not play" list even though there were requests.. thank God! All in all - if you're looking for a fun and crowd knowing DJ, Matt is your guy! Hope this helps :)

Having shopped multiple DJs, it was an easy choice to select Soundwave to get our party started right. Matt was our DJ and did a perfect job. Our family and friends were a little hesitant to hit the dance floor and Matt immediately changed up the play list. Shortly after, the crowd was rocking for the remainder of the night. Matt was extremely approachable to all of our guests playing requested songs, giving shout outs, and making announcements as needed. The lighting paired with the music was phenomenal. My one job for the wedding was to get the DJ and lighting and my wife couldn't have been happier.

Everyone commented how awesome Matt had everything setup, his entire playlist, and all together, his communication with me along the way was perfect.

Matt was our DJ for our wedding this past Saturday, and we cannot say enough good things about the service he provided! Both Marie and Matt were professional from start to finish, and their online interface for choosing songs and setting the timeline we a breeze to work with. We had a couple special requests for our day, and we feel that Matt did a phenomenal job with them. I was also very impressed when I spoke with Matt on the phone to go over the pronunciation of our last names and he got them all right on the first attempt :). As a model I modeled several times for the Buffalo Bridal Expo. When it was finally my time to attend as a bride. Soundwave DJ out of all the other Dj services present, the most generous and knowledgeable one in the buisness that I spooke too. Maria was always there right away to get back to me, in times where I was a panicked bridezilla. Their library was impressive, and if they did not have it, they found it for me! They made my wedding as custom as it could be. My DJ Vince was amazing, Easy going and went with whatever we threw at him the day of. He nailed my announcements, and was super fun and chill to be around. hes even included in our wedding video. :)

Derek from SoundWave was WONDERFUL. He was sooo much fun, everyone had a blast even though it rained all night. He was very professional.
